Vocational Qualifications Authority is an affiliated body of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of Turkey. Building a national qualifications framework that improves the quality of education and training and strengthens the link between education and employment is one of the key requirements for developing the human resources and increasing the employability of labour force in Turkey.
National Occupational Standards are official documents agreed by the business and education authorities, stating what is required in terms of knowledge, skills, attitude and traits in order to perform an occupation successfully.
The shared occupational standards are as follows:
