SESRIC organised a two-day training course on “Ways of Raising Finance through Capital Markets (IPOs)” on 02-03 May 2019 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.

Dr Özlem Sayılır, Assistant Professor at Anadolu University, conducted the training with the participation of 15 experts from the Baku Stock Exchange.

The training course was organised within the framework of the Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SEP) and included activities with a focus on the following topics:

  • Capital Markets and IPO Decision
  • IPO Executive Process
  • IPO Valuation
  • Marketing of IPOs
  • Successful IPOs
  • Investor Relations
  • IPO Cases in the Development Markets
  • IPO Cases in Emerging Markets and Turkey
  • Listing Requirement Cases

SESRIC organizes several short-term training courses on various technical aspects related to the stock exchanges by matching the needs and capacities of the stock exchanges of the OIC member countries.
