Within the framework of the SESRIC Competition Authorities Capacity Building Programme (CA-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with the Turkish Competition Authority (TCA), organised a Training Course on “Empowering Competition Authorities for Fair Market Competition” on 2-3 April 2024 through an online video conferencing platform.

The training course was provided by competent experts from the Turkish Competition Authority for the benefit of 57 experts and executives from the Competition Agencies/ Authorities and relevant national institutions in 20 OIC Countries.

The following topics were covered during the two days of the training:

• Strengthening Competition Advocacy Function of Competition Authorities: Market Studies, by Mr. Şamil PİŞMAF, Head, Economic Analysis and Research Department
• Empowering International Cooperation Between Competition Authorities: Ramadan Letters, by Mr. Alper Fevzi KARA, Chief Competition Expert, External Relations and Competition Advocacy Department
