Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised a Training Course on “Information Society and Digitalization” on 29-30 April 2025. The course brought together 61 statisticians and experts from National Statistical Offices (NSOs) and relevant ministries of 18 OIC countries.

The experts at the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) conducted the training course and covered the following topics:

• Surveys on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Usage in Households, Individuals and Enterprises
  • Analytical framework, concepts, definitions
  • Methodological base, classifications, coverage and statistical units
  • Sampling method
  • Data collection, measurement and analysis e. Dissemination
• Research on Information Technology Use by Children
