H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Abbas Jabr AL-MALIKI, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Iraq, to explore opportunities for strengthening cooperation between SESRIC and the Ministry.

The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in agricultural statistics, data-driven policy-making, and potential joint initiatives under SESRIC’s Agriculture and Food Security Capacity Building Programme (Agri-CaB), which supports OIC countries in advancing sustainable agricultural development and food security.

To date, SESRIC has organised more than 160 capacity-building activities for the benefit of participants from national institutions of Iraq.
