Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Service Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and the Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC organised a Webinar on “Supporting NEET Youth with Effective Guidance and Coaching Methods for Career Success” on 11 February 2026.
The event featured insightful presentations from representatives of the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills of Morocco (ANAPEC), the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment of Nigeria, the Labour and Human Resource Department of the Punjab, Pakistan, and the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training of Cameroon as well as the International Labour Organisation (ILO), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The webinar brought together 335 participants from public employment agencies and relevant national institutions across 25 OIC countries. It aimed to share good practices in guidance and coaching methods specifically designed to support NEET youth in their career development. Additionally, participants gained insights into practical approaches and tools to help NEET youth identify career goals, develop essential skills, and navigate the job market successfully.
