Sixth OIC-VET Consultative Meeting

SESRIC, as the Executing Organ of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), organised the Sixth OIC-VET Consultative Meeting on 15 April 2026. 
The event brought together 89 representatives from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) authorities and relevant national institutions across 26 OIC member countries.
The primary focus of the meeting was to review the draft OIC-TVET Strategic Roadmap 2035. Deliberations centred on cross-cutting pillars and key priority areas, including:
  • Governance and Funding: Strengthening institutional frameworks and financial sustainability.
  • Quality and Impact: Enhancing training standards and labour market relevance.
  • Intra-OIC Cooperation: Fostering regional partnerships and knowledge sharing.

Subsequent to the meeting, participants will provide feedback and recommendations to further strengthen and finalise the Strategic Roadmap.
