SESRIC participated in the closing ceremony of the “COSME Türkiye Project,” held on 8 April 2026 in Ankara, Türkiye. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the technical assistance project, which was implemented by KOSGEB under the Competitive Sectors Programme, co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Republic of Türkiye.
The event brought together key stakeholders from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, and various national and international institutions. The project's primary goal was to improve the competitiveness of Türkiye's SMEs by strengthening the national coordination of the COSME (Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) Programme and increasing the capacity of local businesses to access EU-funded opportunities.

SESRIC’s attendance at the event was in line with its ongoing efforts to follow practical approaches to entrepreneurship and economic development. The outcomes of the COSME Türkiye project provide useful experience that may help inform efforts in other OIC countries to strengthen SME support systems and foster a more enabling business environment.
