SESRIC and Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms (ISRER) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop an institutional collaboration in the area of scientific research and training on 09 May 2013 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Prof. Savaş Alpay, Director General of SESRIC, and Dr. Vilayat Valiyev, Director of ISRER signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

The MoU aims to provide a general framework for cooperation and exchanging of information in the area of scientific research and training between SESRIC and ISRER.

In the operationalization of the MoU, SESRIC and ISRER will be undertaking the implementation of joint research activities and trainings in following fields:

  • Regional disparities and transformation
  • International trade issues
  • Economic cooperation issues
  • Global financial system and economic development challenges for OIC Member Countries
  • Energy Sector: Prospects and Challenges
  • Environment Protection, innovative-technological progress and sustainable development
