The Centre organized a training course on “Metadata Preparation and Management” at the National Bureau of Statistics, United Arab Emirates on 9-11 September 2013. The course was provided by Ms. Nalan Eviren, an expert from the Turkish Statistical Institute with the participation of relevant staff members of National Bureau of Statistics, United Arab Emirates.

Attended by 25 experts, the training course on “Metadata Preparation and Management” aimed to introduce metadata management approaches and tools as well as share the TurkStat experience within this context. The training covered the following topics:
