A SESRIC delegation, headed by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, participated in the International Education Summit, held on 19 August 2026 at the COMSTECH Secretariat.

Organised by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Office – Board of Investment (BOI), COMSTECH and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the Summit aims to promote academic excellence, strengthen international partnerships, and explore innovative approaches to expanding access to quality education.

The opening session was addressed by H.E. Qaisar Ahmed SHEIKH, Federal Minister of Investment of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, along with  H.E. Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal CHOUDHARY, Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, and H.E. Atif Ikram SHEIKH, President of FPCCI.

SESRIC's participation reflects its continued work in human capital development, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), capacity building, and socio-economic cooperation among OIC countries.
