H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Dr. Ibrahim AL-BADOUR, Health Minister of Jordan, on the margins of the 8^th Islamic Conference of Health Ministers (ICHM) in Amman, Jordan.

SESRIC participated in the panel discussion organised within the scope of World Food Day 2025, held under the theme “South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) Opportunities for Türkiye in Supporting the National Efforts Towards Agrifood Systems Transformation”. The event was jointly organised by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

SESRIC participated in the 13^th Meeting of the OIC/ COMCEC Private Sector Tourism Forum, which was held virtually on 8 October 2024, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, with the theme of “Tourism and Rural Development in OIC Countries”.

A SESRIC delegation participated in the 8^th Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers (ICHM), held on 7–9 October 2025 in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the theme “Health is Our Shared Responsibility.” The delegation was led by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK and included Dr. Esat BAKIMLI.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK addressed the 2^nd Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum (AZHAB) held on 7–8 October in Baku.

On the sidelines of the Inaugural Meeting of the OIC Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Agencies Network (OIC-SMENET), held in conjunction with the 2^nd Azerbaijan Halal Business (AZHAB) Forum on 7 October 2025 in Baku, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Orkhan MAMMADOV, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

SESRIC participated actively in the Senior Officials Meeting preparatory to the 8^th Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers (ICHM), held on 7–9 October 2025 in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meeting brought together representatives of OIC Member States, the OIC General Secretariat, and relevant OIC institutions and international organizations to review progress and key initiatives in the health domain.

On the margins of the 2nd AZHAB Forum, SESRIC and KOBİA co-organised the Inaugural Meeting of the OIC Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Agencies Network (OIC-SMENET) on 7 October 2025 in Baku, in which KOBİA would assume the chairmanship for the upcoming three years.

A delegation from the SESRIC, led by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Amb. Musa KULAKLIKAYA, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.

On the sidelines of the 14^th Session of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), SESRIC and the Department of Statistics Malaysia (StatsMalaysia) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara.

As part of the 14^th Session of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) hosted a side event focusing on the “National Statistical System of Türkiye” on 3 October 2025 at TurkStat Headquarters in Ankara, Republic of Türkiye.

The Forum, jointly convened by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) gathered RCOs, OIC institutions, regional development banks, and international organizations to foster structured policy dialogue and strengthen cooperation on regional integration.

Within the framework of the 14^th Session of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), SESRIC, in collaboration with the Secretariat of the International Forum on TOSSD (IFT) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), organised a side event on “The First Five Years of TOSSD: Tracking Support for the SDGs and Helping Monitor International Development Co-operation in All Its Forms” on 1 October 2025 at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara, Türkiye.

SESRIC, in its capacity as the Secretariat of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), jointly convened the 14^th Session of the OIC-StatCom with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group on 1-3 October 2025 in a hybrid format at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara.

SESRIC participated in the World Social Security Forum (WSSF 2025), held from 29 September to 03 October 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and hosted by the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) of Malaysia, the Forum convened over 2,000 delegates from social security institutions and international organisations across 133 countries.

SESRIC, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) of the Republic of Indonesia, United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA), United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), organised a virtual Training Course on “Developing Public Transport in OIC Megacities” on 29-30 September 2025 within the framework of SESRIC’s Transportation Capacity Building Programme (Transport-CaB).

The 7^th Meeting of the OIC-COMCEC Central Banks Forum was hosted by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye in Istanbul. The meeting brought together governors and senior officials from the Central Banks of 34 OIC countries, along with representatives from international institutions, to discuss the global economic outlook and explore ways to enhance cooperation among OIC countries within the framework of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) financial cooperation agenda.

SESRIC participated in the BOE Asia 2025, held under the theme “Techpreneurship: Strategy, Innovation & Leadership” and organized by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) on 24 September 2025 in Karachi, Pakistan.

SESRIC participated in the Third CIS International Statistical Forum “Prospects of Statistics: International Projects” held on 24-26 September 2025 hosted by the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku.

Within the framework of the SESRIC Project on “Developing an Effective Roadmap for Facilitating Digital Transition in National VET Systems in OIC Member Countries,” which is funded under the 12^th Call for Project Proposals of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) Project Funding, SESRIC successfully organised Workshop on “Developing Roadmap for Vocational Education and Training Systems Across OIC Member Countries” on 24-25 September 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
