SESRIC participated in the 26th Meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Poverty Alleviation Working Group, which was held on 21 April 2026 under the theme “Preventing the Skill Mismatch in the Labour Market of the OIC Member Countries.”

SESRIC participated in the 26^th Meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Tourism Working Group, which was held virtually on 21 April 2026. The meeting focused on the theme “Impacts of Climate Change and Mitigation Strategies for Sustainable OIC Tourism”. 

Within the framework of its Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SE-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with Borsa Istanbul, the Secretariat of the OIC Exchanges Forum (OICEF), organised a Training Course on “Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in OIC Capital Markets” on 21-22 April 2026.

Within the framework of its Public Audit Capacity Building Programme (PAU-CaB), and in collaboration with the Turkish Court of Accounts, SESRIC organised a virtual Training Course on “Digitalisation and Utilisation of AI in Audit” on 21–22 April 2026.

SESRIC participated in the 26th Meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Trade Working Group, held on 20 April 2026 under the theme “Developing Effective Trade Financing Tools for Increasing Exports in the OIC Member Countries.” The meeting brought together 50 participants from national public and private institutions in OIC Countries, as well as representatives of relevant OIC institutions and international and regional organisations.

SESRIC and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara. The MoU aims to establish a framework for cooperation and enhance collaboration between the two institutions on matters related to social development.

SESRIC participated in the 26^th Meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Transport and Communications Working Group, held on 20 April 2026. The meeting was held under the theme “Designing Integrated Multimodal Transport Systems in OIC Member Countries.” It convened 45 participants from national public and private institutions in OIC countries, as well as representatives of relevant OIC institutions and international and regional organisations.

Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC, in collaboration with the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Guinea,  organised a Technical Mission on “SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) Indicators” on 20-22 April 2026 in Conakry, Guinea.

During the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) 2026, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Andrea Meza Murillo, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification and former Minister of Environment and Energy.

On the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Gérardine MUKESHIMANA, Vice-President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development.

On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) 2026, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a meeting with H.E. Susanne RAAB, Director General of International Centre for Migration Policy Development.

On the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Najat Maalla M’JID, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Violence against Children.

On the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) 2026, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Andreas SCHAAL, Director for Global Relations and Co‑operation at the Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD).

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK was a panellist at the #ADF2026 panel on “Engaging Women in Sustaining Peace.” 

SESRIC, as the Executing Organ of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), hosted the Sixth OIC-VET Consultative Meeting on 15 April 2026. The fourth Meeting was conducted in English through an online video conferencing platform.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR, President of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (YÖK).

SESRIC organised a Training Course on “Halal Certification Frameworks and Regulatory Compliance” in collaboration with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), on 14-15 April 2026 for the benefit of OIC countries. It was conducted within the framework of the SESRIC Halal Capacity Building Programme (Halal-CaB).

H.E. Faisal bin Abdullah Hamad Abdullah AL-HANZAB, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Türkiye, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK participated in the opening of the exhibition “Palestine from the Language of the Brush”, organised by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).

SESRIC, as the Executing Organ of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), hosted the Fifth OIC-VET Consultative Meeting on 9 April 2026.
