H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Ahmed UMAIR, Pakistan Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Agriculture, on the sidelines of the High-Level Ministerial Panel on “Preventing Food and Water Waste – Safeguarding Our Future” held under the Zero Waste Forum in Istanbul.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Abbas Jabr AL-MALIKI, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Iraq, to explore opportunities for strengthening cooperation between SESRIC and the Ministry.

A High-Level Ministerial Panel on “Preventing Food and Water Waste – Safeguarding Our Future”, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye and the Zero Waste Foundation under the patronage of H.E. Emine ERDOĞAN, First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye, was held on 28 November 2025 in Istanbul. The event brought together ministers, deputy ministers, senior officials, representatives of regional and international organisations.

SESRIC participated in the 11^th World Halal Summit, organised by the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye in collaboration with other relevant OIC institutions on 26-28 November 2025 in Istanbul. The Summit brought together a wide range of stakeholders from the global halal ecosystem, including policymakers, private sector representatives, academics, researchers, and fiqh experts.

Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Service Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with State Employment Agency (SEA) of Azerbaijan and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation of Türkiye (KOSGEB), organised a Webinar on “Shifting Vocational Training towards Green Energy and Communication Technologies” on 25 November 2025 through an online video conference platfrom.

SESRIC participated virtually in the Sub-Regional Workshop for Enhanced Capacity, Coordination and Collaboration in Strengthening Migration Data Systems in North Africa, organised by the IOM Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa, and the League of Arab States on 24-26 November 2025.

SESRIC participated in the 6^th Youth Advocacy Forum (YAF), held on 21-23 November 2025 at the Turkish Green Crescent Society (YEŞİLAY) Headquarters and Riva National Sport Teams Camp and Education Centre in Istanbul, Türkiye. The Forum under the theme “Building Safe, Just, and Peaceful Societies through Sport” was organised by the Turkish Green Crescent Society, in collaboration by the United Nations Office of Drug and Crimes (UNODC) and supported by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Federation of Green Crescent (IFGC), as well as the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Türkiye.

SESRIC attended the Family, Culture, and Art Symposium held in Ankara, Türkiye, on 19-20 November 2025. The symposium was jointly organized by the Presidential Culture and Arts Policies Board and the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye as part of the "2025 Year of Family" initiative, aiming to advance current discussions on family structure, the preservation of cultural values, and the impact of art on the family and society.

SESRIC participated in the 12th Meeting of the Technical Committee of the Arab Statistics (ArabStat) Initiative, organised by the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 19-20 November 2025.

The SESRIC delegation, led by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, participated in the Third Meeting of the OIC Intergovernmental Expert Group held at the OIC General Secretariat Headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 17-20 November 2025 to discuss the draft Programme of Action for the decade 2026-2035.

A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, headed by H.E. Amb. Adel ATIYAH, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, at SESRIC HQs.

SESRIC participated in the DataFest 2025, organized by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on 11–12 November 2025 at the Pak–China Friendship Centre in Islamabad, Pakistan.

SESRIC participated virtually in the 40^th Meeting of the High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-Building for Statistics for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (HLG-PCCB), held on 10–11 November 2025 in a hybrid format at the headquarters of the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Amb. Nasri Khalil Salim ABUJAISH, the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Türkiye, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, at SESRIC HQs.

SESRIC attended the International Forum on “Digital Transformation of National Statistical Systems” held in Astana, Kazakhstan on 6–7 November 2025. The Forum was hosted by the Kazakhstan Bureau of National Statistics (QazStat) and remarks the 105th anniversary of its establishment.

SESRIC, in collaboration with the Permanent Observer Mission of the OIC to the United Nations, organised a Solutions Session titled “The Circle of Care: Families Supporting the Young, the Old, and All in Need” on the sidelines of Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD2) on 6 November 2025 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha.

Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Services Network (OIC-PESNET) Working Plan 2024-2026 and the Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), organised a Training Course on “Unlocking Potential: Training NEET Youth for Job Readiness for a Better Economic Inclusion” on 5-6 November 2025 through a video conferencing platform. The training course was provided by competent experts from İŞKUR for the benefit of 73 participants from the national public employment services (PES) agencies and institutions of 28 OIC member countries.

In accordance with the relevant objectives of the Strategic Vision of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom) for 2030 and its Programme of Action (2021-2025), and the Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Islamic Tourism in OIC Member Countries, SESRIC, in its capacity as the Secretariat of the OIC-StatCom, organised the Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on the Development of an Islamic Tourism Indicators Framework virtually on 5 November 2025.
