The Third Steering Committee Meeting of the OIC International Internship Programme was held on 4 July 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey.

SESRIC has received the first group of students on 02 July 2019 at its Headquarters in Ankara within the scope of the Summer Internship Programme organised by the Centre for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (SAM).

SESRIC organised a workshop on “Digital Skills Development in OIC Countries” on 25-26 June 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey.

SESRIC organised a capacity development training on “Technology Incubation and Transfer” on 17 June - 19 July 2019 in Bursa, Turkey within the framework of the Reverse Linkage Project between Sudan and Turkey on Capacity Development of the Africa City of Technology (ACT).

SESRIC organised an on-the-job training course on “Technology Incubation and Transfer” on 10 June-09 August 2019 in Kocaeli, Turkey within the scope of the Reverse Linkage Project between Sudan and Turkey on Capacity Development of the Africa City of Technology (ACT).

The Second Meeting of the OIC Central Banks Working Groups, namely “OIC Economic Outlook Working Group” and “Financial Inclusion Working Group”, was held on 17-18 June 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey. 

SESRIC and OSTIM Technical University organised a joint orientation meeting on international cooperation on 13 June 2019 in Ankara, Turkey.

SESRIC participated in the Coordination Meeting at the Expert Level for the Preparation of OIC Strategy for Family and Marriage Institution Empowerment held on 12-13 June 2019 at the International Islamic University of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.

SESRIC organised a Training Course on ‘Treated Wastewater Reuse’ on 11-13 June 2019 in Ramallah, Palestine within the framework of the OIC Water Resources Management Capacity Building Programme (Water-CaB).

SESRIC, in collaboration with the Diplomatic Institute for Training and Studies (IDFE) of Tunisia, organised a training course on “Multilateral Negotiation” on 11-12 June 2019 in N'djamena, Chad.

The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Turkish Court of Accounts (TCA) to strengthen the collaboration in technical areas related to various public audit subjects.

H.E. Mr Nebil DABUR, Director General of SESRIC, paid a visit to H.E. Amb. Abdul Rahim SAYEDJAN, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Ankara on 29 May 2019.

Within the framework of the OIC International Internship Program (OIC Intern), SESRIC and partners organised an orientation training program on 25 May 2019 in Ankara, Turkey. Thirty-five international students from the OIC Member States studying in Turkey participated in the programme.

SESRIC participated in the High-Level SPEED (Syrian Palestinian Employment and Entrepreneurship Development) Steering Committee Meeting and sequent technical-level meeting on 22-23 May 2019 at Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Regional Hub in Ankara, Turkey.

The Steering Committee Meeting of the BINA Program was held on 21 May 2019 at SERIC Headquarters in Ankara, Turkey to discuss the progress and various aspect regarding the implementation of the project.

Within the framework of the OIC International Internship Program (OIC Intern), an orientation training program was held on 18 May 2019 in Istanbul, Turkey with the participation of 95 international students from the various OIC Member States studying in Turkey.

SESRIC organised a Statistics Course on ‘Science, Technology and Innovation Statistics’ on 13-15 May 2019 at the BPS-Statistics Indonesia within the framework of OIC Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme.

SESRIC participated in the International Workshop on “Water and Energy Nexus in Central Asia and the Caucasus” organised by Cappadocia University in Nevşehir, Turkey on 02-03 May 2019.

SESRIC organised a two-day training course on “Ways of Raising Finance through Capital Markets (IPOs)” on 02-03 May 2019 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
